Your Role and Responsibilities
The Security Program Manager has primary responsibility for the oversight and management of IBMs Data Conversion Lab. This position is with the Expert Labs team reporting to the CMOD Practice Manager. You will be tasked with the management of day-to-day security controls and audit readiness.
Assigned duties will include:
* Providing security oversight for both production applications and development environments on IBM Cloud as well as legacy infrastructure
* Developing security policy and processes based on ISO27002 and NIST 800-53
* Tracking and assisting in remediation of reported operational security issues
* Serve as the focal point for security or anti-virus incidents that may occur in the development or customer environments
* Managing to resolution security risks identified during reviews and audits, changes in IBM polices, changes in operating practices or processes, changes in technology, etc
* Participating in transition and transformation projects that span multiple organizations and environments; and acting as a subject matter expert for security policies and processes
* Promote cross functional collaboration between stakeholders, solve complex problems, achieve objectives, meet schedules, improve efficiencies, exercise good judgement, and communicate clearly.
* Manage IT security governance, risk and compliance reporting
* Develop process documentation, project schedules, key metrics and transformational milestones
* Manage day-to-day lab operations and device shipping and receiving
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $94,000 to $145,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* At least 5 years experience as a security program manager or similar role
* Experience with AIX, Linux, Windows, VMWare and CISCO Network equipment
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
* Strong administrative and organizational talent
* Understanding of how to manage security and compliance
* Talent to promote collaboration between stakeholders, solve problems, achieve objectives, meet schedules, improve efficiencies, exercise good judgement, and communicate clearly
* Tenacity at uncovering and addressing problems before they become compliance issues
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment through influence and expertise
* Knowledge of ITSS or CSD security standards, and associated security technical specifications for AIX, Linux, Windows, VMWare and CISCO Networking platforms
* Experience with DevOps concepts, tooling and software development
