Responsibilities
Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking multiple dynamic and talented PRN Therapists. We are a private, freestanding, 118- bed, acute psychiatric hospital; specializing in mental health and chemical dependency. We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient hospital, or outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.
The Therapist performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.
We have needs in the following Department:
* Inpatient Therapists for days
* Outpatient Therapist both day and evenings
* Intake Therapists both days and nights
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
* Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.
* Experience: Three 3 years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills preferred; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
* License: CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT, LMFT with the state of Utah
* Additional Requirements: CPR certification is required. AMSR Training is required within 90 days. You will need to successfully complete our current training for restraints and seclusions. This training will need to be done prior to assisting in any patient restraints or seclusions and within 90 days of employment. May be required to work flexible hours.
