Valley Hospital looking for a highly motivated Health Information Analyst to be a part of our exceptional multi-disciplinary team!

Job Description: Health Information Analyst-Full Time

The Health Information Analyst is responsible for carrying out the activities of the Health Information Services Department in the maintenance of all patient medical records information, ensuring compliance will all state and federal laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and within JCAHO standards for the quality of patient care. The Health Information Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring the timely transmission of patients Transition of Care documents to their follow-up appointments within 24 hours of discharge.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED and equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Previous experience in information management and direct experience in a health care psychiatric facility preferred.
