The Electrical Products Team, Electro-Optics Department is currently searching for an Optical Integration Engineer to work on a multi-disciplined team to assist on development and production programs across the portfolio of RMD Electro-Optics products. The chosen team member may be asked to participate in EO subsystem integration and innovation efforts that could include design, design review, production support, process and metric development.

Responsibilities to anticipate:
* Optical alignment/testing of telescope assembly
* Implementation of automated test and assembly processes
* Analysis of test data from electro-optic sensors or seekers
* Design of analysis tools for optical sensors
* Design of optical and opto-mechanical seeker systems and/or test fixtures for missiles
* Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues
* Support production related activities in the assembly and documentation of electro-optical subsystems

Please Note: This position can be a Sr. Systems Engineer I (G08) or Sr. Systems Engineer II (G09) based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

* Bachelor of Science in Optics, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related discipline
* At least four years of experience in optical design, system integration and test, or data analysis
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to be able to communicate technical analyses and test results to a variety of audiences
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:

* Master of Science in Optics, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related discipline
* Competency in the use of computer analysis tools such as MatLab and/or IDL
* Experience writing C++ code
* Experience with EO test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control
* EO sensor integration and verification experience
* Working knowledge and exposure to laboratory measurement equipment or techniques for optics, detectors, and EO/IR subsystems data
* Familiarity with production test processes and test problem report disposition
This position requires the ability to obtain and hold a DoD secret security clearance.
