Job Title: HR Manager

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing and supporting policies and programs covering most, if not all, of the following functions within Human Resources: talent acquisition, talent management, employee development, employee orientation, employee recognition, and employee promotion and placement. This individual will provide HR leadership to the Commercial business unit in our Winfield, KS manufacturing & distribution sites. This position will report to the VP HR for our Commercial business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior HR Business Partners to execute on client priorities and support their respective talent strategies and organizational development agendas
* Provide coaching and support to the organization's employees and managers on human resource related issues like performance management, employee relations, performance improvement plans, conflict resolution, career development discussions, etc.
* Communicate and help to implement and/or maintain consistent HR policies and procedures
* Manage recruiting efforts including initiating requisitions, conducting interviews when needed, and any necessary pre-employment processes
* Lead the new hire onboarding process
* Enable effective movement of internal talent by focusing on continuously improving the experience associated with the internal candidate process
* Responsible for the maintenance of employees electronic/non-electronic files and manage all employee data changes through our HRIS system
* Partner with the Total Rewards Center of Excellence to support compensation, benefits and recognition programs that will drive a performance culture within the organization
* Support HR team with annual performance review and annual merit sessions setup and presentations
* Partner with the Company's Talent Development Center of Excellence, support the Company's performance and talent development culture
* Support leadership with questions on time & attendance and payroll
* Assist with HR and company reports & requests
* Assist with Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation administration and questions
* Assist with special projects and other support as needed
Key Qualifications:
The successful candidate can work independently, set daily priorities and have excellent time management skills. A high degree of professionalization is required with clients and peers. Thoroughness and confidentiality are essential.
* 3-5 years of prior HR experience with a preference for experience in a prior HR Manager role
* Bachelor's degree required
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability and comfort level working with all levels of employees in a fast paced and change oriented environment
* Comfort dealing with ambiguity and navigating ambiguous situations
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
* Strong analytical skill set with advanced skills in all Microsoft Suite systems including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Demonstrated focus on customer service is critical
* Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience using SAP HCM module
* PHR or SHRM-CP
