As a CO+I Critical Environment Electrical Program Manager (CEPM), you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

* Establish and enhance strong working relationships with customers.u202Fu202F
* Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventative and corrective electrical maintenance of Microsoft equipment. This involves utilizing CMMS and monitoring the performance of electrical plant and machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss of the plant and equipment and the production of work order and allocating the work daily to the Electrical Technicians, monitoring progress and inspecting completed work to ensure the required standards are achieved.
* Ensure that electrical equipment and systems within the data center are operating at peak efficiency and seek out opportunities for cost/energy efficiency projects.
* Assist technicians in times of emergencies & undertake on the job training of technicians when required. Provide input and recommendations on the electrical design parameters based on technical expertise and equipment knowledge.
* Responsible for leading the end-to-end project delivery across planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical projects from conception to completion.
* Ensure operational and maintenance KPIs, objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards are maintained and ensure routine reporting of metrics. Ensure compliance with infrastructure operations standardization
* Drive identification and remediation of vulnerabilities (such as single points of failure) in the electrical stack at datacenter locations. Provide recommendations on new data center equipment designs, technologies, and construction methods. Drive cost/energy efficiency projects

Required Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance in a critical infrastructure environment. Some examples of electrical equipment in the critical environment may include (but not be limited to): UPSs, PDUs, Generators, Switchgear, etc)
* 2+ years of experience with project management or relevant certification/training in project management
* High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or bachelor's degree or Trade School certificate in applicable engineering field or electrical or electrical trades
* 3+ Years' experience working on large scale projects.
* Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar certification
* Experience with physical IT infrastructures (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
