Job Responsibilities
The Global Demand/Capacity Manager role is a labor capacity planning and analytics role with an emphasis on logistics capacity planning and alignment of demand levels based on statistical targets. Supporting a cross-functional, global team, that ensures accuracy and consistent methods to support KPI's that deliver results.
This is an individual contributor position.
Other Job Responsibilities
* Planning and monitoring the operational performance to ensure that Lam Logistics meets objectives for managing inbound and outbound deliverables
* Maintaining standardized Capacity Plans, including tracking the productivity and performance figures for all regions
* Be proactive in highlighting opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
* Effectively communicate with key decision-makers on resource planning issues
* Analyze, conduct and/or prepare plans that drive business operations to achieve specific objectives.
* Maintain ongoing communication and engagement with stakeholders and be available as a resource for colleagues
* Track, maintain and provide current information on planning KPIs
* Take a new perspective using existing and new solutions to deliver results
* Interpret customer demand, assess requirements and determine solutions to flex capacity
* Ensuring alignment between operational objectives, inventory strategy and manufacturing plan
* Maintain high-level integrity, remain flexible, results-oriented and work productively in a matrixed organization
* Embrace a changing culture
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related subject
* 5+ years experience of working in Capacity Planning and/or, Inventory Management, in a multi-site manufacturing environment
* 5+ years analytics background within a manufacturing environment
* SAP proficient
