Job Responsibilities
Lam Research is seeking an experienced, data savvy Business Operations Analyst to join their Global Operations group with a focus on Aftermarket Service/Spare Parts Planning Systems and Analytics team.
This critical position will partner with spares planning management and will be responsible to optimize spares parts forecasting, inventory management, order fulfillment and supply planning processes by identifying and pursuing improvement opportunities passionately using appropriate systems, analytical models, statistical methods, and accumulation of subject matter expertise.
The candidate will conduct data discovery, programmatic collection and data pipeline development, model development and data organization to provide robust graphical data visualizations and recommendations to improve business processes and performance in the Service Parts Planning realm and in support of the Planning Systems and process Roadmap. The candidate will perform Causal Analysis of process defects and develop and implement Corrective action plans to resolve them.
The success of all efforts is measured by the results of the specific initiatives of the candidate but also by impact on the key performance indicators for the entire org such as Customer Service Levels, Inventory Turns and Excess and Obsolete (E&O) material. So, an effective candidate will be a team player as we measure success not just individually but also collectively.
The position will independently drive the assigned projects/programs with stakeholders in a matrix environment and present the relevant KPI to the management.

Other Job Responsibilities
* Ensure seamless operation of assigned systems, process areas and troubleshooting when issues arise
* Work with technical stakeholders to support the implementation/deployment of systemic solutions or changes to existing solutions
* Enabling continuous improvement in Lams Planning process, systems and results as described above
* Data collection, data pipeline development and data analysis for problem solving or ad hoc needs
* Executive presentations
* Basic Project/Program management for assigned areas
* Work with business stakeholders to determine their business needs and transform them into business requirements specifications
* Learn and use the systems and applications deployed at Lam as needed to perform above job duties
Minimum Qualifications
* Data collection and data pipeline development by writing queries for SQL server, SAP Hana and Microsoft Access
* Working knowledge of SAP MRP and SAP MM, SD modules
* Capability to analyze and interpret data with statistical methods
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Customer focus (internal and external), critical thinking and creative problem solving
* Teamwork and collaboration, empathy and continuous learning
* Required - Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering Information Systems, Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior knowledge of Service Parts Planning software such as Servigistics SPM, SPO, Syncron GIM, BAXTER will be a plus
* Supply chain management (APICS, CSCMP etc) certification will be a plus
* Advanced knowledge and experience using SAP MRP will be a plus
* Prior experience of building data dashboards will be a plus
* Prior knowledge/experience or Interest to build models using ML/AI techniques will be a plus
* Prior experience in a service parts management position or in capital equipment or semiconductor industry will be a plus
* Prior knowledge or experience of forecasting and inventory optimization will be a plus
* Experience and prior training on using Lean Six sigma problem solving tools will be a plus
* Preferred Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 2 years of relevant experience
