External Regulatory Risk Reporting Analyst

External Regulatory Risk Reporting group is responsible for firm-wide risk reporting and analysis in support of critical regulatory requirements to the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC).

The Risk Reporting Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to support a host of critical and dynamic deliverables for the Firm. As part of the External Risk Reporting team, the ideal candidate will work closely with Risk and Finance groups within the firm, as well as line of business credit and financial teams. Successful candidates will drive process improvements, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and reduce cycle time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As an External Risk Reporting Senior Analyst the ideal candidate will:

Have the opportunity report and monitor of the Legal lending Limits process for the firm, critical to JPMC compliance with the 12 CFR regulations and liaise with Credit Executives in support of exposure limits

Work on the new Single Counterparty Credit Limit Reporting and Monitoring Federal Reserve guidelines, including analytical review and preparation of the quarterly report. This role will include working with various teams in the bank such as Credit Risk, Finance, Legal, Policy, Technology, and reporting teams

Prepare and analyze the Top 50 Counterparty Reports for the Firm, working with Credit Executives.

Have a marked impact on strategic process improvement through the identification, tracking, and resolution of data quality issues.

Qualifications/Skills:

* Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant discipline
* 1-5 years of experience in risk and/or financial reporting
* Ability to understand business drivers and requirements and influence partners to deliver solutions to business issues and problems
* Strong analytical and financial skills with a proven track record of execution
* Acute attention to detail and control driven mindset
* Strong communications skills both written and verbal
* A developed leadership presence capable of effective messaging to colleagues, regulators and management alike.
* Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel; Access & PowerPoint) and with large amounts of data
* Strong team player who can work well and build partnerships with colleagues of various levels, across multiple locations
* Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus
