As an Anesthesia Technician, you will bring your knowledge of anesthesia equipment and components. You will use your effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. You will have strong time management skills. Come join our team and unlock your potential here!

Here is some of what you can expect from being an Anesthesia Technician with us:

You will demonstrate your technical skills to assist the anesthesia provider (anesthesiologist or CRNA) with equipment, medications, and supplies utilized in the course of the anesthesia providers practice.

You will be responsible for the application of TJC, OSHA and AMMI standards with regard to cleaning, safety and equipment maintenance.

You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from surgery and PACU, assist with preparation for the next procedure, and you will be able to open sterile supplies under the direction of the RN or surgical technologist.

You will also help with room turnovers and terminal cleaning of all equipment in the operating room.

You may come in contact with medications and therefore you must demonstrate understanding of proper medication management and storage as well as maintaining a secure medication environment.

You will order department supplies and pick them for surgical procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program preferred.

One (1) year minimum experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
