Description
We are looking to add a Systems Engineer to the Innovative Aerospace Division team. We support the collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of information across the full spectrum of their missions. We employ and challenge more than 2,000 of the most talented professionals in the industry with solving such complex problems as preventing cyber threats, transforming data into intelligence and combating global terrorism.
Lead the development, test and deployment of synthetic aperture radar technology into existing naval aviation system such as the P-3, P-8, and MH-60R/S, with emphasis on the effective integration of the system into the avionics/sensors suite of current naval surveillance platforms.
As the principal point of contact with the customer, develop the CONOPs, ICD, Test and Eval plans, and product sustainment plans. Direct the technical efforts of the Severn radar team, and deliver the system hardware, software and associated technical data package: Participate in field trials, and the after action development tasks. Manage the product through the life cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
-BS in engineering, physics, math or computer science.
-Desired candidate is a former navy aviator or engineer, familiar with NAVAIR acquisition, flight test and air worthiness certification processes.
Clearance Requirement:
Secret. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include but are not limited:
