Job Description
As a Stress Lab Engineer, you will be joining a team of highly motivated, dynamic, and hands-on individuals supporting the efforts of the Stress Lab Engineering and Operations (SEO) team within the Corporate Quality Network (CQN). The Stress Lab Engineers provide project management, process design, and development, and sustaining support for integrated circuit or semiconductor assemblies, various other electronic components subsystems, and/or completed units.

The Stress Lab Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Ownership of reliability stress toolsets including Silicon Photonics Thermal Mechanical and Biasing systems.
* Coaching of Equipment Technicians and Operators.
* Leading task forces and hands-on troubleshooting situations performing initial triage of failures and working with tool vendors, Field Service Engineers, and engineering technicians to resolve tool performance issues.
* Ensure continuous improvements and breakthroughs of the tools module through data-driven decision-making by analyzing tool and operations performance trends including Statistical Process Control SPC.
* Data mining through SQL Pathfinder scripts.
* Lead cost-saving initiatives for maximization of lab quality output and cost performance.
* Improving area key performance indicators for Quality and Output.
* May support new product transfer and start-up and the automation and improvement of the certification process.
* Strives to proliferate shared learning across sites.
* Maintain necessary records and reports.
* Performs other related duties as required or as directed.
* Troubleshoot electromechanical issues using metrology instrumentation including Semiconductor Parametric Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, or others.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
Minimum Qualifications:
* The candidate must possess a Masters Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a tool engineer or module owner.
* Minimum 6 months of experience with data mining, scripting, statistical methods, and design of experiments.
* Minimum 6 months of experience using instrumentation for troubleshooting purposes
Preferred qualifications:
* Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
* Knowledge in reliability stress testing of Silicon Photonics and/or silicon components.
* Project managerial experience
* Knowledge of Labview programming a plus
