Job Description
Intel's Technology Development Team is looking for a Night Shift Engineer. Process Engineers develop and sustain such processes as diffusion, etching, plating, lithographic printing, thin film deposition in semiconductor fab manufacturing operations.
Process Engineers are responsible for (but not limited to):
* Plans and implements capacity, and operational improvements to maximize output while improving the safety and quality of operations.
* As module owner, conducts tests and measurements of their operations to determine control over critical dimensions and defectivity of the process line.
* Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment in order to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and optimizing production output for existing products.
* Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
* Exercise independent judgement and discretion by making recommendations and adjusting tools and processes reactively when something has changed on the line or proactively in order to maximize output.
* Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
The candidate should possess the below behavioral traits:
* Demonstrated experience with rapid analysis of complex process issues and identification of a solution path
* Able to work Independently with minimal direction, to be self-directing and show initiative
* Communication skills and demonstrated ability to summarize complex data sets for technical and nontechnical audiences
Please note this job is for Shift 6 only. Nights Wed - Fri and Wed -Sat.
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Math or a related field.
* Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* * Knowledge of Semiconductor materials and characterization
* Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and engineering analysis tools
* Experience with Analytical Techniques
