What does a great Sr. Technical QA Analyst do?

This position is cross functional and provides technical (processing and topology) and client facing exposure. The Sr. Technical QA Analyst will work with internal and external clients in preparation for the certification cycle and is expected to provide guidance to internal and external clients in preparation for the certification cycle. In this role you will have exposure to and work with other technical and client facing partners. The role provides an opportunity to grow in a position that contributes to overall technical and client facing support.

As a Sr. Technical QA Analyst you will:

* Analyze project/request and solidify scope
* Manage projects with risk, complexity and visibility that relate to critical business goals
* Manage unforeseen in-flight project changes
* Ensure project timelines and/or constraints are clearly defined and communicated
* Accurately track, via proprietary tool, project progress through the coordination effort
* Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to internal and external clients
* Lead specification reviews and address issues
* Assist with defining connectivity options and details
* Schedule certification phase
* Prepare client folder and assign project to analyst leveraging existing resource management practices
* Support internal/external project status meetings

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

* College/technical school, BS in Computer Science or related discipline strongly preferred
* Minimum 5+ years equivalent EFT experience in the EFT data processing area is required
* Strong communications skills (written and verbal), ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

* Knowledge of payment processing, financial transaction processing, switching and authorization environments strongly preferred
* Knowledge/experience with communication protocols/equipment preferred
* Working knowledge of transaction simulation tools strongly preferred
