POSITION SUMMARY:

The Training Specialist will enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employees workplace performance in alliance with Environmental Solutions Group (ESG) companys core values. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

* Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
* Translate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path.
* Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans.
* Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
* Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
* Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions, including developing content or re-doing programs as necessary.
* Deliver training courses.
* Manage training courses and completion tracking in the companys learning management system
* Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
* Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
* Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.
* Completing other organization development projects as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Education, Training, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in Human Resource, Training, or Organizational Development with emphasis on designing and conducting training events in a corporate setting preferred. May consider a candidate who experienced a successful internship with a degree in a field listed.
* SAP or other learning management software knowledge preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
* Proven ability to master the full training cycle.
* Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
* Ability to problem-solve, thing creatively and be proactive.
* Familiarity with talent development, talent management and succession planning.
* Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI.
* Sound decision making and organizational skills.
* Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in database software.
* Must be a self-starter and exercise substantial degree of judgment. High standards, high quality work is of utmost importance. Decisions must be well thought-out and analyzed.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
