Description

As an Senior Recruiter in Cat Digital, you will coordinate staffing processes within the business unit and broader digital function across the enterprise. Work with hiring manager(s) to understand staffing needs, review/create requisitions, and discuss potential sourcing strategy.

* Primary recruiting contact for hiring manager. Continually engages with hiring managers and BU/location leadership to understand the recruiting business needs and have an in depth understanding of the business areas and the skills which are in demand.
* Effectively program manages recruitment function as required and manage candidate pipeline and responsible for quality of the prospective candidates that are presented to the hiring managers for open requisitions.
* Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies & processes.
* Track candidate process and minimize time to hire (Resume (CV) to offer) through driving the candidate pipeline. Understand and use recruiting application(s), direct sourcer searches of the candidate database, and ensure up to date data management of integrated applications by Hiring Managers at all time.
* Develop and maintain effective relations with the segment recruiting team and recruitment channel partners (agencies), delivering the recruitment services as appropriate.
* Develop or assist with the development of job requisition/specifications and set up appropriate assessment methodologies/processes for the business units. Ensure client satisfaction for the recruitment efforts within span of support by preparing and communicating key recruitment messages as per business needs and coordinating with the assigned recruiting coordinator. Ensure the positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity.
* Provide continual feedback to the business units on recruitment results via recruiting status updates to Regional and Global Recruiting Leadership, including performance vs. targets, sourcing/recruiting challenges/issues, etc.
* Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons-learned. Provide back-up recruiting services for other regions as needed.
* Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, considering alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions, and continuing to build strong relationship with business unit. The jobholder manages multiple priorities and stays abreast of current regulations and human resource management.
* Must have a high level of energy and flexibility and demands sufficient knowledge to resolve recruitment/human resources related questions and issues such as Global location, payroll, disciplines, etc. Must continually seek opportunities for process improvement and implement as appropriate.
* Work with process owners and governance council to ensure correct level of approval is determined for process changes and updated documentation is provided.
* Must have the ability to assist in the development and implementation of flexible processes and innovative approaches that comply with globally consistent recruitment processes, and which properly document control points through which to ensure compliance with Business Controls requirements for assigned region/country/location/business unit/function.

Typical internal customers include the employees at all levels and candidates for more specific needs and complex roles in one or more facilities and/or Divisions, at both domestic and regional locations.

Develop and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. The incumbent is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and interpret business requirement, review them and translate them into successful recruitment solutions before selecting the final option. The incumbent solves problems by determining the best course of action within departmental guidelines from many existing solutions following documented processes and procedures. Can change different parts of the standard approach to serve customers best, but cannot add or delete procedures without approval. May direct and review work of others. Determines business objectives. Work is typically reviewed after completion.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelors degree from an accredited university
* 3+ years of recruiting for software engineering, architecture, analytics, and software or application development skill sets
* 5+ years within recruiting or HR related function
* Previous experience with an Enterprise ATS ideally Workday
* Previous experience leveraging a CRM or other sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates

* Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective relations with the hiring managers in span of support. Capability to manage multiple internal customers with ease.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at various levels of the organization, providing the highest level of client service including strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Client Service Orientation: Should have client service orientation to provide the highest level of client service.
* Influencing and Negotiation skills: Ability to lead and coordinate efforts for recruiting team(s) assigned to support requisitions in span of support without a solid line reporting relationship.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data including recruiting metrics, recruitment channels etc. to ensure strategies are working.
* Previous experience working in a corporate environment
