SHIFT- Sunday to Thursday, Overnight 11:00PM to 07:30AM

Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

Accountabilities in this role

* Responsible for coordinating work across multiple departments to ensure all transportation issues are addressed in a timely manner
* Fully support sales, customer service and divisional departments to meet all customer expectations relative to service, timely delivery, fill rates and quality control within the distribution environment
* Responsible for understanding and managing the Freight Pay & Audit (FP&A) system
* Monitor and maintain daily OS&D report Confirm customer shortage claims are documented and bill couriers for lost totes/coolers/cases
* Maintain monthly delivery data and report on-time delivery stats to corporate
* Work with couriers to provide POD data when requested
* Import CRM data daily and report to local management
* Update carrier scan, distrack and IKON when changes or additions are made to groups/routes
* Maintain the delivery driver security forms for each courier.
* Provide month end reports to management and all couriers to report external damages
* Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager

Qualifications

* HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
* 1+ years experience in related field
* Knowledge of facility operations required
* Proven or potential leadership ability required
* Ability to develop and implement action plans that deliver results
* Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
* Strong organization and scheduling skills
