What you will be doing

Under general direction of the Director - Marketing & Operations, responsible for managing the marketing opportunities between AmerisourceBergen and the manufacturing partners.

1. Proactively works directly with outside pharmaceutical manufacturers to sell Product Promotion Services that maximize the value of the relationship for both parties and generating profit enhancing opportunities.
2. Negotiates Marketing Services Agreements to ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns.
3. Authors Statement of Work that identify marketing campaign activities the parties have agreed to engage, and ensures accurate execution of SOW.
4. Manages internal process related to Product Promotion Services such as sales analysis, tracking opportunities, ensuring invoices are produced, and approving payment to outside vendors.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e. ABSG, ABDC, GNP and corporate marketing) to ensure presentation materials are updated and compliant.
6. Assists with development of new marketing programs to create new revenue sources.
7. Represents and positions AmerisourceBergen favorably with suppliers and acts as an advocate for AmerisourceBergen interests relative to suppliers' actions and policies.
8. Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like (minimum qualifications)

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education; normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

1. Outstanding knowledge of product and supplier base, product relationships and pharmaceutical / life sciences industry trends
2. Excellent computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; deep knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
3. Working knowledge of sales, purchasing, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles and methodologies
4. Outstanding project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across the organization and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
5. Ability to deal with confrontational issues in a positive manner
6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
7. Strong interpersonal skills
8. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
9. Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
