Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in an hourly Administrative Assistant level 4 role in Azusa, CA. The selected candidate will perform a variety of administrative activities in support of the Business Development function of the Strategic Force Programs business unit (BU). Business Development is responsible for bringing new business into the organization through customer, competitor, and cross-company interactions. Primary assignments include maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel and submitting expense reports, supporting site visits, and providing documentation support. The selected candidate will support the business development director and managers. The selected candidate must be dependable, have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with internal amp; external customers, as well as interact with senior management and support staff. Candidate must possess strong office management skills, organization, and prioritization of tasks under minimal supervision.

Additional Tasks include:
bull; Support team and site events, training sessions, customer meetings, visitor coordination, catering, special projects, and group events
bull; Coordinate on customer site visits to the Azusa, Boulder, and Space Park campuses for the business unit
bull; Coordinate across the sector and company on events, trade shows, and conferences
bull; Collect input from the BD team and produce a weekly activity report for submission to the BU VP and division
bull; Prepare and coordinate on material for international and public release in support of international captures through Northrop Grumman rsquo;s ePROCS document coordination and release system
bull; Serve as administrator for the business unit rsquo;s Salesforce electronic business development and capture tool (training provided)
bull; Process employee requests for server access
bull; Purchase and maintain office supply stocks
bull; Provide additional clerical and administrative assistance as needed/ in addition to items specifically listed above

bull; Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years administrative assistant experience
* Candidate must be experienced with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Prior experience managing calendars and coordinating meetings/events
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Ability to obtain amp; maintain a DoD secret security clearance (US Citizenship Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor 39;s Degree
* Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Experience (Formulas, Pivot-Tables, Charts, Graphs)
* Current amp; active DoD secret security clearance or higher or ability to be eligible for a clearance
* Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
