Northrop Grumman Space Systems has openings for Senior Principal Program Planning amp; Scheduling Analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. These positions support critical programs in the Tactical Space Division 39;s Space Security portfolio. These positions will be located in Dulles, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Preparing, developing and coordinating the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
* Ensuring major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
* Tracking plans and schedules, performing risk analysis, identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts.
* Utilizing Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress.
* Identifying performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s degree with 9+ years of related experience - OR - a Master 39;s degree from an accredited university with 7+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
* Experience building programs in MS Project or related scheduling software.
* Familiarity with DECM/DCMA 14 point scheduling metrics.
* Experience with WBS, OBS, EVMS and IMP.
* A current and active Top Secret clearance and in-scope SCI.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Aerospace/defense industry experience.
* Ability to perform Monte Carlos Schedule Risk Assessment.
