Digital Solutions Data Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Work within a multi-disciplinary team with backgrounds in Agile, client collaboration, innovation, user experience, and enterprise data strategy. Use excellent analytical skills to research and profile datasets, leverage a hypothesis-driven approach to developing new data products and analyses, and synthesize work into deliverables, including visualizations, executive summaries, requirements documentation, and strategic recommendations and client presentations. Lead efforts for data extraction, validation, and cleaning/preparation to ensure the quality of the data. Leverage excellent listening and analytic expertise to break down complex concepts into clear, approachable steps. Work collaboratively and think outside the box. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results and develop and apply analyses of situations or data using an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Recognize and explore other work, tools, techniques, and technologies to improve or influence results and identify industry best practices with potential for adoption.
Basic Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience with data technology and analysis using SQL, Python, R or Shiny
* 4+ years of experience with performing complex functional project activities
* Experience with Agile
* Experience with data visualizations
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with software development teams
* Experience with working with Federal financial data and/or knowledge of government accounting practices
* Experience with developing data visualizations for the web
* Ability to operate effectively in a high pressure, high-tempo, dynamic environment
