Northrup Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Accountant or Sr Principal Accountant to join ourFinance team at our Promontory, Utah or Magna, Utah location.

Role description amp; Responsibilities:
The position is responsible to provide accounting support.

JobDuties:
Analyze and process accounting entries based on GAAP and Governmentaccounting knowledge for multiple business units.
Analyze large volumes of data using worksheet and database skills tomanipulate, summarize, and select into meaningful information for decisionmaking.

Performdetail analysis and reconciliations for Inventory, Labor, Accounts Payable andGeneral Ledger Accounts.
Support financial and SOX audits by internal, External, and Governmentauditors.
Provide financial statementinformation and financial schedules requiredfor monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.

Qualification

Principal Accountant Basic Qualifications:

bull; Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance or Accounting with a Bachelor 39;s degree, or 4 years of experience with a Master 39;s

bull; Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office

Sr Principal Accountant Basic Qualifications:

bull; Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance or Accounting with a Bachelor 39;s degree, or 8 years of experience with a Master 39;s

bull; Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

bull; MBA degree preferred

bull; CPA certification preferred
bull; Knowledge of and experience with federal government financial standards, project costing systems, and multiple overhead rates experience is preferred
