Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Flight Simulation Trainer - Air Battle Manager (ABM) SME Casual/On Call. This position will be located at Scott AFB, IL. The qualified candidate will facilitate the daily execution of Mobility Air Force (MAF) Mission Profile (MMP) events and Small Team events for the MAF Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Distributed Training Center (DTC). Responsibilities include a thorough knowledge of Airborne Command and Control (C2) procedures, integration of airborne tactical platforms and training requirements. The ABM SME will facilitate the DTC rsquo;s support of daily MAF DMO training through scheduling, scenario development, mission planning and execution materials, brief, execution and debrief support for MMP and Small Team events. The candidate may attend exercise planning conferences, meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding unit training requirements. To accomplish these unit training requirements he/she will develop the executable Computer Generated Forces (CGF) scenarios, mission materials and briefs for the diverse aircrew training audience. They will facilitate the execution of MAF DMO training missions while acting as the white force and assist in regulating the flow of timely injects throughout the training event.

Additional duties may include:

Candidate may provide consulting expertise to military and/or defense clients to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine. Candidate may provide specialized planning and/or execution expertise in specialized phases of military training exercises--including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma with 15 years rsquo; experience or related experience
* Must currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance or Top Secret in the last two years
* Must be an experienced Air Battle Manager or Senior Weapons Controller with more than 5 years of control experience
* Must possess a thorough knowledge Airborne Command and Control (C2) or Ground C2 procedures, integration of airborne tactical platforms and training requirements
* Must be knowledgeable in USAF tactical radio communications, command and control operations, electronic surveillance communications and Link-16 / Dynamic Targeting operations and messaging, and tactical chat
* Must be knowledgeable in AFTTP 3-1, 3-3

Preferred Qualifications:

* Possess a DoD Top Secret security clearance
* Experienced Instructor ABM
* Weapons School Graduate
* Experience with Combat Air Forces DMO exercises and simulations
* Flown/operated operationally within the past 5 years
