Are you looking for a Part-time opportunity in the lab setting to help develop and grow your scientific skills? Do you currently have a high school diploma and are interested in working in a lab? Manpower is partnering with a reputable pharmaceutical company in Allegan Michigan, Perrigo. We are seeking a long-term temporary Lab Tech Assistant. The individual selected for this position will be working with the lab employees/management staff supporting products/RM testing needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: lab ware cleaning (manual hand washing and using a validated dishwasher), data entry into the lab information management system (LIMS), inventory/ordering of supplies, interoffice mail courier role and housekeeping duties. Must be able to lift ~50lbs.
Hours will be Monday and Wednesday from 4pm-2am (some flexibility with hours). Training hours may be 2p-Midnight.
Pay rate- $12.90/hr
Required Skills
* Must have a HS diploma or GED
* AS in a Scientific Field or in progress is preferred
* Works well with others and independently
* Experience with data entry into computer programs
* Learns quickly and good attendance record.
* has the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
* Must be able to work independently and with a team.
* Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
* A drug screen and background check will be conducted
