Medical Laboratory Technician, Alaska Regional Hospital

The MLT precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi-automated, and/or manual methodologies. Performs diagnostic procedures and venipuncture as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

* Vocational/Technical OR 2 year Associate Degree

* Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools: Blood drawing equipment, analyzers

Certifications:

* ASCP or National Certification Required; New Grad has 90 days to get Certified.
