Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of corporate commitments relating to ICG O&T Cross-Asset Regulatory Programs (CARP), initially focussing on the FR Y-14 (Capital Planning) program.

The candidate will provide business analysis support for CARP initiatives in collaboration with ICG Businesses, Chief Data Office, Finance, EI O&T, Compliance, Internal Audit, Technology, and ICG O&T to ensure solutions are defined and delivered to address in a timely and effective manner.

The importance of this role, reflects the increasing criticality of strong and coordinated solutions for regulatory programs within a large global organization.

Key Objectives Include:

* Support the onshore/offshore project team across the FR Y-14 Remediation process for ICG, implementing solutions, and iterative process improvements

* Reporting updates to Management through various governance processes

* Liaise with the central Capital Planning team to agree requirements to meet FR Y-14 Remediation regulatory commitments

* Liaise with the Capital Planning and Finance teams to document knowledge of current issues

* Provide product expertise to improve the efficiency of the FR Y-14 current process

* Focus will be on the FR Y-14 exceptions to create both a tactical and strategic approach to meet firm targets

* Support for FR Y-14 project team to evaluate results, approach and support multi-year strategic initiative

Job Background/context:

Citi established a FR Y-14 Program in 2019 to improve the quality of the banks CCAR reporting to the FRB. It is an important component of Citis overall Data Quality Program to ensure the banks information is complete, accurate and timely for external and internal users.

Citis Institutional Clients Group (ICG) established its FR Y-14 Program within the ICG Data Governance Office at the same time to define and deliver the ICG divisions commitments to the FRB.

The ICG FR Y-14 Program includes activities aligned to the following areas:

* Citis Foundational Data Strategy and Enhancements

* Data Quality Remediation Actions

* FR Y-14 Exceptions Remediation

Experience and skill sets within the following major areas are expected:

People Management:

Managing the operations of a team, including hiring and career development responsibilities of both Citi and Vendor staff

Project Management

Managing ICGs FR Y-14 Remediation program, and solution projects.

Stakeholder Management

Professional and effective presentation of information to management.

Process Management and Process Improvement Implementation:

Analysing FR Y-14 current process, identifying and implementing process improvements.

Communications Management:

Continual interaction with peers and senior leadership in ICG businesses.

Financial Services, Vendor Management, Markets Products, Data Quality and Regulatory Background Knowledge:

Previous experience in banking; knowledge of ICG Products such as Loans, Derivatives, Securities and Deposits finance; in-depth knowledge of Data Quality as well as regulatory knowledge. Experience in managing remote teams located in multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Address FR Y-14 and other regulatory program deliverables, ensuring maximum solution development efficiency through clearly defined requirements and implementation plans

* Collaborate with functional partners and stakeholders from ICG, GCB, DGO, Finance, Operations, and Technology to define, drive and implement detailed business requirements, and represent ICG O&T in cross functional forums

* Support the development of various project plans, integrated multi-generational plans, test plans and change management plans for the rollout of solutions

* Develop a detailed knowledge of FR Y-14 requirements and Citi capabilities and organization, in order to understand impact of proposed changes and recommend appropriate solutions

* Execute against critical project activities, inter-dependencies, risk components, progress communication, and coordination relating to CARP commitments and deliverables

* Provide updates to ICG senior management as required, ensuring presentations are prepared, shared and updated timely

* Develop strong partnerships within the Operations and Technology and Business groups, as well as other organizations supporting ICG activities (Finance, IA, Compliance, etc.)

* Work with CARPM and M&B DGO teams to ensure raising of self-identified (IBAM), regulatory or audit issues and recommending suitable solutions for Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) as and when required

* Liaise with auditors/ regulators and assist in related review preparation, execution, and management reporting and escalations, and manage audit deliverables by liaising with necessary stakeholders and ensuring appropriate response

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

* 3+ years of relevant experience

* Experience with working with a large, global organization

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

* Experience in managing projects

* Regulatory related experience and knowledge preferable

* Project Management qualification e.g. Prince2, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent experience

* Experience in an operations/ process-driven environment

* ICG product knowledge of, e.g. Loans, Securities

* Record of process improvement implementation, with problem-solving and business analysis skills

* Experience in data quality assurance and business and technical data architecture

* Ability to partner with technology partners to translate business requirements into functional and technical design, and support deployment to users; both training/support and functional deployment
