Purpose:

As an Overnight Receiving Supervisor, youll lead the overnight receiving team in making sure our stores remain stocked with the merchandise our customers want! Daily tasks include oversight of Receiving Associates throughout the merchandise life-cycle of receiving, ticketing, sorting, and moving merchandise into and throughout the store quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Youll play a major role in successfully managing the flow of merchandise from the stockroom through our stores, which is a critical element in driving positive results for the company.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise receipt of freight and ensure shipments are conveyed quickly, accurately and safely from the shipping/receiving platform to backroom.

* Oversee receiving team throughout processing, ticketing, storing, moving, and displaying merchandise.

* Stock, organize and present new merchandise on the sales floor.

* Lead by example assisting in the successful performance of all overnight receiving functions, keeping our core values and Our Burlington philosophy in mind.

* Perform other tasks as assigned by manager from time-to-time.

Candidates must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more.
