What youll do

* Collaborate with business and functional partners, and, technology leadership in defining features backlog and specifying requirements. Guide technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs, identifying gaps, and defining technology roadmaps.
* Working with Product Manager, facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge to help guide/scope product requirements to ensure target solution is meeting customer requirements.
* Evaluate and provide feedback to technical de-risking and development relevant to new products under development.
* Working in conjunction with the Product Manager, Custom Consumables Team, and the customer, own the custom single-use development workstream by driving requirements and overseeing the workflow through to product registration.
* Work with globally located technical teams, often comprising of members of separate organizations, to coordinate and drive product care initiatives (FMI, ISI, complaint investigations, etc.).
* Drive customer complaints to closure within agreed upon Quality metrics (i.e.: P95). Track investigation outcomes and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Systemic issues identified and brought to Project Committee (PCCGT) for funding and resource.
* Collaborate with Product Management team to acquire voice of customer (VOC) to develop product concepts for applications and workflows in relevant market space. Conduct/Support external customer evaluations to gain customer insight and test value of features and/or product.
* Provide application method training to field application team and actively engage in customer support including troubleshooting and issue mitigations.
* Create/provide learning development and sales training. Content could be both internally and externally focused.

Who you are

* Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, biology, engineering, or other relevant fields.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in product management, marketing, product development, commercial, R&D, or related fields.
* Strong business and technical acumen with a proven ability to manage cross functional, cross geographical teams.
* Strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
* Demonstrated customer focus evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.
* Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates meaningful strategies and operational plans.
* Change oriented actively generates process improvements, champions and motivates change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
