Job Summary:
Yellow Shoes is the award-winning, in-house agency that develops creative strategies and solutions to support Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Yellow Shoes is dedicated to helping promote the business while building the Disney brand. Our competitive advantage is an intimate knowledge of, and unique integration within, our Parks & Resorts business. Account Management serves as the bridge between the Marketing & Sales Strategy leadership on each business, and the creative teams (both internal Disney and external agencies) supporting it, adding value to the marketing and the creative direction.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Account Management work on multiple WDPR businesses, including creative strategy development, budget management, and execution. You will report to the Director, Account and Project Management.
* Manage independent project work
* Lead and develop direct reports
* Develop high detailed annual calendar of programs by business
* Partner with internal agency peers and external agency groups to develop creative solutions
* Maintain understanding of work that is on brand and achieves strategy
* Champion, promote, and nurture creativity
* Work across client-facing and internal Account Management groups including account, project management, traffic, and business affairs
* Promote creative process, ensuring a smooth operation with a reputation for excellence, and earning respect of creative teams for bringing out their best work
* Passionate champion for businesses within the agency, keeping leadership informed of important development and accomplishments
* Contribute to agency culture and progress
* Develop peer and executive level client relationships, earning their trust and respect
* Demonstrate deep knowledge of client products, competitors, and industry apply this knowledge when counseling client peers/executives during planning and creative reviews
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years of marketing, or advertising agency experience
* Knowledge of brand management and advertising for consumer brands
* Experience working with creative teams across all disciplines with a high competency in creative brief writing, human insight / platform development and ability to translate business acumen to inspire creative teams.
* Knowledge of Walt Disney World, Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Weddings or Youth marketing & sales efforts
* Knowledge of consumer research tools and methodologies
* Understanding and evidence of variety of communication mediums including video, print, digital, email, collateral, OOH, and the production process supporting each
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in multicultural marketing (especially US Hispanic or Latin American segments)
