Responsibilities

Schick Shadel Hospital is seeking a temporary full-time (covering a leave of absence) Admissions Coordinator who will be responsible for working with potential patients, either by telephone, internet, or written correspondence to admit them for detoxification treatment and/or aversion therapy treatment at our hospital. Qualifications

The following are specific duties of the Admissions Coordinator:

1. Fields all inquiry telephone calls and correspondence from potential patients.
2. Explain the program to them, discusses price.
3. Converts the call into an admission if viable and appropriate.
4. Responsible for insurance benefit verification.
5. Admits patients for detoxification and aversion therapy treatment to the hospital using standardized forms.
6. Conducts orientation to the hospital and treatment program.

Education/Experience Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Adequate knowledge and competency in drug and alcohol treatment required.
3. Strong background in sales, marketing, or public relations.
