Responsibilities

Delivers all aspects of Respiratory Care to all age groups. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff members and acts as a resource person. Is able to cross train in other areas and willing to float to fulfill hospital needs. Participates in department QI studies, Inservices, and meetings.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved program. Current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida.

Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (required for work in NICU), STABLE (required to work NICU)

Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital which includes adult critical care.

Experience in an acute care neonatal intensive care unit a plus.
