Responsible for delivering quality direct patient care under appropriate clinical supervision, to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with psychiatric or emotional disorders; to serve actively and constructively as a member of the hospital's multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the hospital's program philosophy of care.

Qualifications
Possess current, valid California LVN or PT license. Position requires written and oral communication skills; legible handwriting, ability to interact effectively with clinical team and other staff; organizational, problem-solving and time management skills; empathy for patients and their families; flexibility; telephone etiquette and customer service skills for phone and face-to-face contacts; skills in basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the adult psychiatric population; thorough familiarity of psychopharmacology and the use of psychotropic medications within children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. In the absence of these skills upon hire, must demonstrate ability to learn these concepts and develop these skills within reasonable time frame via organization's orientation and training program. Must be currently CPR certified through American Heart Association only.
