The Sales and Operation Planning Analyst is an immediate high-impact and complex role, and it must be undertaken by someone who is capable of jumping into complex data environments, mapping process to data flow, solving business issues with quantitative and qualitative analyses, managing large and diverse data sets, and balancing requirements across broad cross-functional teams to prioritize near term and long-term deliverables. The Analyst will have ownership and autonomy to manage the full portfolio of forward/backward looking S&OP report across supply, sales, inventory, demand/supply waterfalls, KPIs, and ad-hoc reporting. Key responsibilities include gathering inputs and scoping business reporting needs, data requirements, and reporting formats/tools. The role is a balance of business reporting, and reporting analytics which is focused on identifying key data points in the analysis to help drive business impact. The Analyst must navigate cross-functional to identify reporting needs, and prioritize the development initiatives, locate and validate data, and ultimately build out the full suite of S&OP reporting. The full suite of reports will serve to support primarily the Planning and Channel ops teams, but also serving to deliver a standardized portfolio of reports and analysis to the broader cross-functional team.
Sales & Operations Planning Analyst Responsibilities
* Owns the scoping, development, delivery, and maintenance of the core set of S&OP reporting including (lifetime production plans and actuals, sell-in/sell through plans and actuals, supply KPIs, demand and supply waterfalls, inventory reconciliation, material liability tracking, and others.
* Drives input on reporting tool development (near term and long term).
* Understand and navigates the complex data infrastructure at FRL to identify and validate best source of data.
* Identifies and drives to closure data inconsistencies and errors.
* Ad-hoc reporting to support S&OP meetings.
* Self-driven and ad-hoc analysis on S&OP reporting to identify areas of potential impact in the S&OP plans.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor or Masters degree
* 5+ years of experience focused on Consumer Electronics demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and business reporting
* Experience with engaging with and extracting data from complex system landscape
* Experience building and developing complex reporting across demand and supply channels
* Experience retrieving insights/reports from data portals (Tableau, Business Intelligence hubs)
* Proactive problem solving with communication and collaborative skills
* Experience influencing and driving decision-making through fact-based analysis and rationale
