Job Description:

At Regions, the Commercial Relationship Manager focuses on delivery of credit and a broad range of product / service client solutions within a dedicated geographic Area. Commercial Relationship Managers target general-industry clients with annual revenues between $1MM - $250MM.

Primary Responsibilities

* Function as the central delivery point to clients by executing relationship strategy and working with key business partners to engage expertise
* Retain and expand high-value relationships while conducting client acquisition activity
* Exhibit high-degree of credit acumen, partner successfully with credit and compliance partners and serve as part of the first line of defense in identifying and managing risk
* Deliver knowledgeable advice and solutions, institutionalize client relationships, and optimize revenue opportunities to the Commercial Bank

This position is incentive eligible.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

* Bachelors Degree
* 7 years experience in Commercial banking or sales with at least 5 years Commercial Relationship Management experience
* Strong negotiation and oral and written communication skills
* Positive reputation and network of industry contacts

Preferences

* Graduate Degree in related field
* CTP Designation

* Strong ability to identify, prioritize and develop relationship strategy for high-value retention, expansion clients and acquisition targets
* Strong ability to isolate current and emerging client needs / proactively introduce solutions
* Strong ability to engage and lead relevant business partners in team-based portfolio development/ expertise delivery
* Strong ability to plan and execute quality client / prospect calls
* Strong ability to manage transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including structure, pricing, internal approval / compliance processes and documentation
* Strong ability to exercise credit acumen and pricing discipline
* Ability to complete Relationship Management Process training
* Ability to utilize skills learned through the Relationship Management Process training

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.
