Job Description Summary:
Engineers qualifying for this position must have a passion for innovation focused around new clean EV product development. They will join a team responsible for creating Maxims newest Battery Management ICs. Focused developments areas include precision signal chain (ADCs and Comparators), communications interfaces (such as SPI, I2C and UART) with an emphasis on Functional Safety ISO26262 (ASIL).
Candidates will work with a team of engineers to help develop new products and characterize existing products. The job requires solid analog and digital understanding with the ability to program code and other commensurate laboratory skills. Additional job responsibilities include writing technical documentation and application notes. Clear and concise communications skills are also essential.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
* Create data sheets, application notes, and product presentations describing product features and operation.
* Perform hands-on characterization of IP to verify critical performance requirement.
* Create schematics/layouts of new application circuits and ensure test results match expected performance.
* Developing test specifications to exercise the complete ability of the product
* Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Minimum Qualifications:
* Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Understanding of transistor-level circuit design
* Strong technical background with desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (preferably in multiple languages)
