Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to perform subcontract management duties in support multiple research and development programs for Tactical Missiles and Advanced Programs lines of business. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic environment that is shaping the future of the business. This role will require the successful candidate to be involved in the early stages of program development with duties that include executing Proprietary Information Agreements, issuing Request for Information on capabilities, Issuing request for proposals, performing subcontract evaluation and source selection, obtaining certified cost or pricing data, working with cost evaluations, negotiating and managing multiple subcontracts. The position will also have heavy involvement in supporting customer proposal submittals. This position will be involved in multiple contracts types including but not limited to Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Time & material as well as multiple types of subcontracts from major sub-systems to University research subcontracts. The successful candidate will have significant interface with Program Engineering, Management, and Finance.

Subcontracting experience associated with complex
assemblies, and equipment

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and

presentation)
Ability to interact with senior internal and external

Desired Skills:
Strong knowledge of standard contract types and
experience preparing subcontract packages with all
supporting documentation required for compliance
with FAR/DFAR/LMAP requirements.
Thorough knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and
requirements for FAR / DFAR based contracts and
internal acquisition policies and procedures such as
Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
Subcontracting experience associated with complex
assemblies, and equipment within Defense or
Aerospace industries
Experience with Cost Plus Subcontracts
Experience with SAP based procurement system.
Proficiency in Procure to Pay P2P (SAP) procurement
systems
Cross-functional knowledge of program roles
including Engineering, Supplier Quality, Production
Operations and Finance as they relate to managing
suppliers
DoD Clearance with investigation in past 6 years is
