Frye Regional Medical Center
Responsible for patient clinical assessment and check in.a) Ability to recognize symptoms and evaluate patient for appropriate care category of critical, severe, or minimal.b) Routes patients immediately to Triage if critical or severe category symptoms are present at time of check-in.2) Responsible for all front desk operations.a) Answers and routes all incoming phone calls.b) Collection of patient information needed to prepare EQE chart.c) Search MPI completely and assign the correct medical record number.d) Communicate continually as needed with Triage and Charge RN.e) Disposition and breakdown of all charts.f) Scan required identification3) Assist with EMS check-in when necessary4) Responsible for back up Registration as needed.a) Fill in processing patient registration as needed.b) Secure all signatures necessary for treatments, release of medical information, assignment of insurance benefits, and payment of services from legally responsible parties. Obtain copies of necessary identification and insurance cards.c) Other registration duties as assigned5) Adheres to Frye Regional Medical Centers Appearance and Hygiene policy policies6) Adheres to Frye Regional Medical Centers Attendance policy7) Communications- Refer to policy 715F; full-time and part-time employees will attend the required minimum of 50% all departmental staff meetings.8) Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices9) Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required EMT, EMT-1, or EMT Basic accepted
BLS Provider certification with AHA required

Our Health Support Center (HSC), in Brentwood, Tennessee, has subject matter expertise in every area of healthcare operations and provider services. The HSC is organized to bring resources to bear across the continuum of care, from before a patient accesses healthcare services to after they are sent home, while keeping quality and compliance at the center.
On a daily basis, our group leaders and subject matter experts are working with our local markets to help develop and implement the right strategies that ensure healthcare thrives in their communities.
