General Description:

As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will gain hands-on experience controlling and maintaining the receipts and shipments of orders to/from one of Goodyear?s manufacturing plants as well as controlling the documentation and physical flow of all traffic inbound and outbound. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Clean and maintain a safe work environment
* Abide by standard work procedures and job safety standards
* Effectively schedule freight shipments to support customer needs
* Weigh/Ship out completed tire molds to appropriate locations
* Complete and file paperwork accordingly
* Process shipping and receiving documents in various databases including Excel, TCM and SAP.
* Unload incoming raw materials and store in appropriate area
* Process the shipping/receiving of all MRO parts
* Verifying counts of received items
* Creating goods receipts documents in SAP per our inventory control procedures
* Process and document all Hazardous Material Disposals per Goodyear and EPA standards
* Train and Evaluate all powered industrial truck operators in the facility
* Coordinate maintenance and care of facility powered industrial vehicles
* Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable.
* Adhere to Goodyear?s attendance policy
* Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
* Understand and follow all instructions

Basic Qualifications:

* HS Diploma/GED
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
* Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies
* Ability to work any and/or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime if applicable
* Proficiency with computers and their applications (Microsoft Suite)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous logistical operations or shipping/receiving experience (1-2 years preferred)
* Experience using SAP
* Strong sense of time organization and urgency
* Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards
