In this role you will work with clients and internal stakeholders to scope, define and document requirements to ensure clarity, alignment to execute client credit card program implementation and conversion projects. In this capacity you will collaborate with clients and key business partners. These projects can span multiple business units and functional areas.

As a Project Consultant you can look forward to:
Assisting with the turnover from sales to the conversion and implementation operation.
Assisting with the Project Kickoff process, defining the plan and conversion strategy and product/service implementation details.
Defining and documenting the overall scope; identifying and communicating project dependencies and impacts.
Developing strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with Client leadership and key internal partners.
Representing the needs of the client in specific product development initiatives that are associated with the project.
Supporting Go-Live events offering expertise with trouble shooting conversion issues.
Provide expertise and experience of the overall conversion process to prepare clients for their project experience to ensure optimal quality results.
Oversee and execute special projects required to support client initiatives.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related field. (equivalent exp)
5+ years working on large projects that are client facing.
Proficient with documenting project scope of large/complex projects.
Experience working in the Credit Card industry.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically (approximately 5-10 times annually).
Ability to provide after-hours support for project implementations.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Understanding of the Credit Card Issuing Industry and associated products
Experience in a client-facing role
Experience working with software implementations/conversions.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.

In this role you will be aligned with our card solutions team. Card Services authorizes and settles point-of-sale (POS) and ATM transactions, monitors and drives ATMs, provides nationwide switching of debit, credit, prepaid and ATM transactions, and owns the Accel Network.
