In this job, youll be part of Pole Program Management (PPM) within Transmission & Distribution (T&D). This person examines and operationalizes raw data for the purpose of deteriorated pole scoping, project management and quality control for T&D pole replacements and/or remediation. You will also be responsible for data reporting/tracking for any poles identified as deteriorated. Our pole execution strategy takes into account annual pole targets, compliance requirements, operation resources, budget commitments, and construction constraints. * Responsible for Deteriorated Pole analytics, data interpretation and data extraction.
* Develops, and assists or makes presentation to senior management, department and division management on initiatives supporting T&D strategies and goals.
* Makes strategic recommendations on data collection, extraction, preparation, and integration all while maintaining data integrity.
* Responsible for providing, analyzing, and interpreting data in support of GRC testimony.
* Acts as a subject matter authority to analysts about data sources, extraction methods and data interpretation.
* Provides analysis for area of responsibility in support of ongoing company operations or in response to changing business strategies.
* Responsible for development, improvement and execution of processes that support T&D in the execution of performance and metrics.

Qualifications
The Essentials

* Three years or more of experience performing Data Analytics functions such as extracting data and analyzing data.
* Two or more years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP, Oracle, etc), or with analytical tools such as SAS or SAS Visual Analytics (VA).
* Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts and graphing.

The Preferred

* Bachelors Degree.
* Experience performing pole load calculations, consulting, and providing recommendations.
* Experience working with programs such as Spida, Design Manager and Click Schedule.
* Geospatial (GIS) mapping platforms (ESRI, Smallworld, QGIS).
* Effective resource, project planning and results delivery skills.
