As an Algorithm Development Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithm software and integrating that software in the continuous deployment of a large scale system in a robust containerized environment.

This role provides the ability to integrate some of the newest technologies, as well as maintain and build them into operational capabilities.

Key responsibilities of this position are noted below:
Perform full life cycle software development using object-oriented design and development
Design and develop image processing algorithms using modern high-level languages (Java, C++, Python) using Agile Development Methodologies, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.

Utilize a large scale DevOps pipeline to develop, test, and operationalize algorithm software applications
Integrate new and updated software on C2S (cloud) virtual computing resources
Basic Qualifications:
Exceptional programming skills (including several of the following languages: Python, C/C++, Java, R, SAS, Pig, Hive, Spark, MATLAB, SQL, etc.) with ability to transition between languages as needed
Experience developing and implementing software for image processing applications and algorithms
Degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, various engineering disciplines, or related STEM discipline
Desired Skills:
Experience working and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary research team setting
experience with COTS products (Kubernetes, Docker and Jenkins) and integrating them into a unified workflow
Proven history of building prototypes in rapid prototyping environment
Experience working with product teams to integrate ideas or transfer technology into products
Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, various engineering fields, or related STEM subject area

Typically has 5 - 7 years of professional experience.
