As a key member of the Global QSR and FRS Research and Development team, this customer-facing role will be responsible for driving increased customer partnership through leadership of the Technical Accounts Management organization (TAM). The TAM team is the primary technical resource for all Ecolab products and services with strong focus on bringing new innovations to improve customers operations, cleanliness, and food safety programs. The Sr. Technical Accounts Program Leader works closely with Corporate Account managers (CAM), Marketing, Regulatory, and across RD&E.; This position reports to the VP RD&E; for QSR and FRS.

This position is located in Greensboro, NC.

What you will do:

* Provide strategic leadership for technical team when conducting new Ecolab product evaluation, developing cleaning protocols for new or existing equipment, and competitive testing
* Hire and develop talent into the TAM organization.
* Drive Innovation through breadth of knowledge of customer processes and challenges. Partner on key innovation projects to provide VOC while building stronger/more customer focused project leaders. Capture competitive threats and opportunities to leverage technologies or develop alternative solutions.
* Provide personalized service and champion customer needs through organization within QSR, FRS and across Ecolab.
* Work closely and directly with global business leads together with Marketing and Regulatory, to provide strategic action to drive customer retention, account penetration and new customer acquisition.
* Leverage and provide resources against customer problem resolutions and ensure proper feedback loop to other departments for root cause analysis.
* Participate and contribute on the business RD&E; Technical Leadership Team
* Represent Ecolab in industry alliance organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in chemistry, engineering, biology, food science or related scientific/technical discipline.
* 2+ years experience leading and developing high performing teams.
* 10+ years experience in an R&D; role.
* 4+ years experience in a customer facing role.
* Experience planning and conducting experimental and analytical studies
* Experience working with cross-functional business leaders within the areas of marketing, regulatory, sales, finance, and supply chain.
* Experience driving Innovation through breadth of knowledge of customer processes and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in chemistry, engineering, biology, food science or related scientific/technical discipline.
* Proven professional demeanor and communication skills within all levels of organization.
* Excellent organizational skills and good attention to detail are essential.
