As the Work Order Process Supervisor, you will supervise business processes related to the support of gas operations, including work order management and associated business processes. Ensure process development and consistency standards within the region and works collaboratively across the region to establish and ensure adherence to defined business standards, processes, rates, and tariffs.

Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:

* Supervise the day-to-day work order process activities including but not limited to, the initiation and completion of work orders to ensure the accuracy of records used to construct, maintain and operate the gas delivery systems.
* Manage the recertification of all work order related error reports (Retirement, Unitization, 60 Day, Salvage, CWIP, etc.) and proactive reports to ensure assets are posted properly and in a timely manner.
* Oversee all aspects of ESD Master Data, including the creation and reporting of maintenance plans, equipment records and measurement documents.
* Direct and supervise daily activities of the defined region/area support staff; organizes staff schedules, assigns duties, delegates assignments and trains new employees on processes and procedures.
* Review process control reports to quickly identify trends and/or errors in the work order process, completes root cause analyses, develops responses and/or actions necessary to address potential errors and ensures compliance with the CenterPoint Energy Regulated Gas Operations common processes.
* Manage the origination and accuracy of the Accounts Receivable Other (ARO) as it relates to non-commodity charges specifically cost quote/estimation and the pay in advance process.
* Supervise the archival recordkeeping process and partners with other work groups, such as SAP, FileNet, Mobile Data and GIS, to ensure that records are maintained to document the gas delivery system and to comply with federal, state and other regulatory bodies.
* Provides feedback on modifications of work order processes; maintains training documentation and ensures the documentation accurately reflects the current work order processes and system configuration.
* Oversee cost center budgets, verify invoice accuracy and approves material requisitions to support achievement of department objectives.
* Observe, coach and develop employees by creating an environment which individuals and teams to contribute to their maximum potential.
* Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing and participates/cooperates in both internal and external audits.
* Ensure that appropriate employees are fully trained in the business standards and processes for managing work orders including ongoing refresher training as necessary.
* Assess and provide input to the development of exception and activity reports related to the pertinent processes and the associated training for management as needed.
* Supervise employees in a matrix work environment across a geographic region.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
* Minimum five (5) years of leadership and/or supervisory experience

Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
* Three (3) years of experience with the ESD module of SAP or the equivalent in Operational experience
* Knowledge in Excel
* Utility experience

This position can be located in Houston, TX.
