POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, the Laboratory Coordinator assists the Director of Laboratory in providing overall direction of the Laboratory. In the absence of the Director of Laboratory, assumes responsibility for the department with consultation with Chief Operating Officer, as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree and completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP) certification required
2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Technologist with supervisory experience preferred
