Contract Administrator, Senior
Key Role:
Work on every element of government acquisition, including requests for proposal, pricing, financial analysis, program management, and subcontracting. Negotiate and administer contracts with the US government and subcontracts with large and small business prime contractors across the breadth of contract types. Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements and organizational conflict of interest plans and review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach. Serve as an advisor for legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. Monitor performance for conformance with contract compliance, including identifying and escalating problems that may threaten performance. Support the team in achieving success and improvement, including developing expertise in business acumen, negotiation, and public speaking and earn a seat at the leadership table. Join the team and provide full life cycle strategic contracts administration leadership and support internal and external clients. This position requires the ability to support 9am-5pm EST hours, will require periodic travel to Atlanta, GA, in the future, and is open to remote delivery from an location in the US., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation
* Experience with fixed-price systems delivery contracts, including contracts for software development life cycle and system delivery
* Experience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, and cost reimbursable
* Experience with GSA schedules, Government Wide Acquisition Contracts, and BPAs
* Experience with OCI terms and mitigation plans
* Experience with reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Experience with establishing agreements with prime contractors, including small businesses
* Knowledge of the systems development life cycle and contracting terms and conditions designed to reasonably bound risk
* Knowledge of federal government contracting, the FAR and HHSAR
* HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience working with Government agencies in US Department of Health and Human Services
* Ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships with internal and external clients
* Possession of excellent time management and organization skills
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Possession of excellent analytical skills to research and solve problems and mitigate risk
* BA or BS degree
