*****This position will be for the South Houston Market*****

JOB SUMMARY: Provides food and merchandising support to designated stores by reviewing the details of various programs and products to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety. Responsible for creating detailed reports, summarizing the findings, and reviewing/providing these reports to management staff. Assists in managing quality control by performing preventative maintenance tasks and responding to calls as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Works closely with stores Management staff, Sales Associates and District Managers within Operations along with other internal departments as it relates to food service categories. Aids with new store start-ups/remodels and assists with training as needed.

* Serves as central contact person for stores regarding food service category questions (i.e. discretionary decision-making power to solve issues as they arise).

* Visits all assigned stores on a set schedule providing food safety and quality assurance monitoring functions including; inspecting all food and beverage equipment, monitoring food temperatures/times and notifying person(s) of compliance issues. Completes detailed itemized reports, with score, summarizing the condition of elements such as: cleanliness, inventory levels, and adherence to health requirements.

* Performs monthly preventative maintenance tasks, calibrates various dispensing machines per schedule, and assists stores with reminders/resets.

* Reviews signage and promotional material.

* Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

* 2+ years of experience in a food service environment

* Strong PC skills including applied knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Product

* Strong attention to detail with above average problem solving and analytical skills

* Strong customer service orientation

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Strong mathematical skills

EDUCATION / LICENSE

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Food Safety Management certified (ServSafe or equivalent) or ability to be certified within 90 days

* Current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.
