Professional Services Consultant

About the Role:
Windstream Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated Professional Services Consultants to work with a wide range of partners to provide onsite and remote engineering expertise, to unburden our customers from required tasks, needed to successfully implement Windstream core networking solutions. To include network (WAN / LAN) discovery, security, engineering, managed network services, and site infrastructure buildouts.
In this revenue accountability role, you will own and support specific regional sales teams at all pre-sales stages and ultimately responsible for the final customer facing scope of work for all partner led activities and successfully transitioning the project over to various delivery partners. Periodically keeping up with project activities to account for modifications in customer requirements, which could require additional levels of efforts or resources to support. You will be responsible for quickly assessing each clients unique business requirements and drive them towards successful outcomes while ensuring fast time to value from their Windstream investment. The ideal candidate will be naturally consultative, collaborative, articulate, extremely organized and motivated by maximizing customer success and outcomes.
As part of this support model, you will be responsible for all training and evangelization of the Professional Services products and solutions, and host monthly sessions with each supported RVP and team.
What Youll Do:
* Work and collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Product teams to provide complete implementation solutions of Windstream core strategic products (SDWAN, UCaaS, Network, Security)
* Work with customers to clearly define customer & Windstream requirements for each engagement and develop a solution to deliver expected value to the customer based on these requirements
* Consult on various regulatory requirements and/or enterprise project rollout and best practices
* Engage partners to build unified Scopes of Work providing the best customer experience with defined requirements, responsibilities, and required transition points to provide a successful implementation
* Remove operational challenges for both customers and Sales Teams
* Generate detailed customer facing Statements of Work to include defining final pricing, implementation schedule, and engagement model while maintaining positive margin for Windstream
* Deliver client presentations during sales cycle collaborating with strategic Professional Services technical resources for scoping and/or offer presentation
* Engage PS Operations team to ensure smooth hand off approved projects including participating in kick off meetings and assisting with Change Orders as required
* Coach and train field sales teams (RVP, AD, SE, Sales) on PS offerings and how to leverage during various stages of customer lifecycle or deal development
* Coach and train Channel Partners and Channel managers on PS offerings and how to leverage during various stages of customer lifecycle or deal development
* Maintain working relationship with delivery partners and abreast with updated products and services

Job Requirements
* Bachelors degree and 8 years professional services level experience
* Preferred; CISSP, CISA
* Experience as an internal sales overlay to the organizations sales distribution channels
* Demonstrated ability to strategize, qualify, close, and deliver Professional Services and consulting engagements
* Experience leading client meetings to extract and document technical requirements
* Experience and knowledge in resolving complex technical problems
* Experience drafting scopes of work and developing cost & revenue models to support positive margin in deals
* Experience in collaborating with large integrators/outsourcers and strategic technology partners
* Proven value-based selling ability; track record for closing revenue
* Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
* Maintain an understanding and working knowledge of the IT Solutions Consulting industry with a specific emphasis on; SDWAN, UCaaS, Managed Network & Security Services, Cloud computing, and customer premise-based solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a desire to be client-facing
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
* High level of intellectual and technical curiosity
* Demonstrated domain knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following: Technical Solution Consulting, WAN / LAN Technology, Infrastructure Field Services, Network Security, and / or Managed Services (DDoS, Network Monitoring, Security Monitoring), Cloud Computing
