We are looking for a Business Banking Portfolio Manager to join our team of bankers in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:
* Manage and service a portfolio of loan relationships
* Addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, credit analysis, monitoring credit performance
* Require calling both external and internal customers to request current financial statements, insurance and income verification information.
* Manage reporting exceptions which include collateral, financial etc.
* Interpret if loan documents provided met requirements of the Bank.
* Processes and compiles weekly and monthly portfolio reports.
* Report loan activities related to past dues, documentation (closing documents, titles, covenants) and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates to upper management.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure the portfolio is compliance.
* Assist Relationship Managers and Branch Center Managers with credit requests.
* Expand, build, and maintain client relationships, providing the highest level of customer service
* Maintain existing relationships
* Other duties as required
Qualifications:
* Typically requires High School diploma or equivalent and 0 to 1 years related experience. 2+ years experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of credit analysis and loan documentation.
* Experience with bank loan and deposit systems preferred
* Must be able to review closing documents in detail
* Must have strong organizational skills
