ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* As a member of a larger project team participate in the following: gather and document business requirements, design and configure the solution, demonstrate configurations via development in prototype systems, testing the solution, and change management (i.e. communication, end-user training).
* Collaborate and communicate effectively on team-based projects
* Take the lead in HRIS enhancement/optimization initiatives through execution of configuration, testing, and change management.
* Assists in implementing new business requests systematically
* Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards
* Consult with the integration team in designing and testing modifications between Workday and other third-partys or custom solutions, while always considering the integrity of the HRIS data.
* Create and follow test plans and protocols to manage system upgrades
* Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, etc.
* Troubleshoot and document HRIS system-related issues
* Collaborate with users and IT professionals to assess needs, improve processes and workflows, and recommend solutions
* Create and maintain system and business process documentation
* Identify ways to increase user effectiveness and work to implement improvements
* Perform HRIS system user training
* Create, implement, and maintain HR reports for various WD functional areas such as HR, finance, and internal audit
* Maintain system tables to meet the business processes requirements
Degree of Supervision:
* Works under general direction and supervision.
* Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work; general instructions on new assignments.
* Acts with discretion to accomplish departmental goals and objectives.
* Work is generally reviewed upon completion for meeting objectives.

* Works on assignments that are limited to moderately difficult in scope, requiring judgment and initiative in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
* Works on assignments requiring review of a variety of factors, to analyze situations and/or data.

* Requires good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

* Observes department and company policies and programs
* Recommends improvements and enhancements to new and existing procedures and practices
* Regularly and customarily exercises discretion and independent decision-making
* Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine action to initiate resolution to issues in HRIS
* Understands implication of work and makes recommendations for solution
* Escalates problematic disputes to supervisor
SKILLS:
* Ability to meet time schedules and deadlines, and to multi-task in a dynamic and demanding environment
* Strong level of knowledge of HR operations and administration
* Strong organizational skills
* Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively
* Exhibits sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
* Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, etc.), Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
