As a Senior Software Engineer and part of Sams Global Technologies Team, you will be responsible for enhancing Sams Club Intelligent Data Insights that support associate and member experiences with the most modern tools and research. You will collaborate with cross-functional software and quality engineers to build best in class technology solutions to tackle complex problems on a massive scale.

What youll do:

* Research latest industry trends in software, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing to enhance Sams Club technology resources and the experiences for both our associates and members.
* Take a data driven approach and propose solutions that aim at achieving the best in industry performance and experiences.
* Apply machine learning, computer vision, and data fusion tools to tackle big data and create new insights that generate value for the company and its customers.
* Perform POCs to evaluate and develop new technologies to solve high value issues that werent solvable before.

Your Qualifications:

* 4+ years experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
* 4+ years overall agile software development, preferably in one or more of the following areas: AR/VR, surveillance, inventory tracking, autonomous vehicles.
* 2+years in cloud platform preferably in Azure
* Python, Java, and C++
* Experience with any and all of these frameworks/libraries: PyTorch, OpenCV, Keras, TensorFlow, Cuda, SciPy, NumPy, BoofCV
* Experience with low-powered devices such as development boards: raspberry pi, Arduino, Coral, Jetson, etc. or mobile phones.
* Experience working in small teams
* Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying solutions into production.

Youll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies, best practices, and both selection and integration of new technologies in hardware and software.
